I especially love that they offer a monthly rotation of cakes and cupcakes, so there’s always something new and exciting to try. Whether you’re stopping in for a sweet treat, picking up something for a special occasion, or grabbing a quick bite, Zingerman’s Bakehouse consistently delivers. A must-visit in Ann Arbor—and they never disappoint!

Zingerman's did the cake for my wedding this weekend and I couldn't have been happier! Alyce in the cake shop was a delight to work with and really brought our vision to life. We got a portrait of our two dogs painted on the side of the cake and everyone loved it and couldn't believe how much it looked like our dogs! The special design touches including bluebonnets and gold leaf flecks to represent two of our special loved ones really meant a lot. The cake itself was was the best cake I've ever had, and several other guests said the same. Delivery to Lansing was done for a very reasonable fee and was on time to the venue. When we found out we had 5 vegan guests, Zingerman's made a small separate round cake that was also so delicious--the vegan guests were so appreciative of their special cake and said it was some of the best cake they'd had! Would absolultely recommend Zingerman's cakes for weddings or any occasion!

I always think of Zingermans as using high quality ingredients. I was saddened to see the ingredients on the key lime pie and the misleading label saying it was full of tradition. Maybe I am too old to realize high fructose corn syrup and palm oil is traditional at this point. Also, why add sugar to the Caesar dressing? Everything else tastes great but today was the first day I looked at ingredients in many, many years. Zingermans do better! Just make it like us old ladies do with eggs, key lime juice, maybe sweetened condensed milk (check the label should just contain sugar and milk) or sour cream, and sugar. The graham cracker crust doesn’t need high fructose corn syrup or palm oil either. Flour, sugar or molasses, butter, vanilla.

First time in Ann Arbor, what a wonderful bakery! My tummy was very happy to have one of the best cruller! Ty fir the experience!
